Tycho Brahe, who revolutionized science by building an extremely large compass and holding it up to the sky to measure stuff better, was also a great innovator in the field of drinking. He lost his nose in a drunken sword-fight, so he made a metal nose and glued it to his face. When he had parties at his house he usually brought out his dwarf and his pet moose. The moose died one day when he took it to a friend's house and the moose drank a bunch of beer and fell down the stairs. Rumor has it that Brahe died when he had to pee really badly at a dinner party and was too polite to excuse himself, but this may not be true.
Andre the Giant was a great innovator in the fields of wrestling, acting and drinking. You may have seen him in The Princess Bride. Samuel Beckett drove him to school everyday when he was a kid. According to Modern Drunkard Magazine he once drank 119 12-ounce bottles of beer in six hours, which is about 40 liters. He passed out and his wrestler friends couldn't move him so they covered him with the piano cover.

Andre the Giant was 7 feet tall and more than 500 pounds. The largest moose on record was 7 foot 7 on its four feet, with an antler span of 6 feet 7 inches, and weighed 1800 pounds. For reference: Tilmann is probably 6 feet 3 and probably weighs around 160 pounds. The only real question left is whether this moose could outdrink Andre.
